National Post: Are Canadian politics hot enough to brew a Tea Party?

Wow…. all I can say is wow!  I gave the interview on Thursday afternoon and wasn’t even sure it would see the light of day.  I left town for the night for shopping day trip and returned to a ton of hits and a full inbox.

I will try to get back to everyone that emailed me but for now thanks for the support and encouragement.

Now that I have that off my chest I would ask that if you support of the ideas of smaller government, liberty & freedom and personal responsibility I would ask that you share this site (and / or the article above) to anyone who will listen.  Facebook is great as well as Twitter (of which I guess I should start using now since I had already I created an account).  I already have some tweaks to the site that I have in mind so stay tuned for updates.

Again thanks to everyone for their interest.

Great site, I read about it in the Ottawa Citizen this weekend. If you need help with anything, let me know.

I was encouraged to hear about the Maple Leaf Party. I do not belong to nor wish to join face book or twitter so I am hoping there are other ways to stay informed regarding this Party. I have become so frustrated by government at every level. They are totally out of touch with reality and do not seem to be aware of the problems facing every day people in this increasing complicated and expensive world. The comments from the Conservatives regarding spending during the G-8/G-20 Summit is typical of this attitude. If most people lived with this attitude, they would soon be bankrupt. I am frustrated with these people spending hard earned tax dollars as if it is their money to do with what they like. I have a lot of issues with the Tea Party in the U.S.A. I feel they are too over the top and too connected with big money. This is not the type of movement I would like to see in Canada but definitely it is time to send a very strong message to all politicians that the general public is mad as hell and not willing to take it any more. I truly hope this movement gives me a chance to express this frustration and outrage.
